Bought a safe (security cabinet, if you will) from Harbor Freight, don't hate.

$240 plus tax with coupon. Better built than my roommate's Stack-On. Holds 10-12 long guns.

I know it's nothing special but, I think got a good deal and wanted to pass along.

Anything to deter thieves is a good thing.

That safe looks decently robust.

Anything is better than putting them in the corner of your closet behind your clothes and near a black widow.

Protect your assets. Keep them out of the hands of dipshit low life's. and children.

Serious question, did you actually put twelve guns in there or is that just what the label/instructions read? Thx.

Put my 9 guns (4 shotguns and 5 rifles) and had room to spare.

Not a ton, but I can fit 3 more AR's/AK's.

I like my Stack-On cabinet setup for my apartment up here. Looked at that safe safe before I bought the Stack-On but figured it would just be more weight I'd have to move back home eventually. When I do get back home I'm calling these folks for a Huntsman II.

Thanks for the heads up!!

Just picked mine up, $259.19 total

Where'd you get the coupon code? I just gave them my phone with the OB pulled up and they typed it in and saved me about $80.

The OB carries weight at harbor freight

It's really not as strong as the stack-on, less bolts on the door, but it's better than a cabinet. All you want is to be able to say yes my guns are locked up. Might be the law there? The average burglary lasts only 4 min and that will take them longer than that to break in. The key pad lock is a must as you may have to access them in a hurry and in the dark. Bolt it down so they won't just haul it off and the easiest place to get into a safe is from the rear.
