First semester I got a 2.5. Lost TOPS stipend. Finished with a 3.3 I guarantee I skipped more class than I went to.

I got a 2.3 my 1st semester and got put on TOPS probation. I had a cumulative 2.7 after my 2nd semester and had to have a 3.0 by the end of my 3rd to keep tops which I did. I ended with a 3.5 after 5 years. Like someone else said, the classes and material aren't the hardest part of college. It's learning how to balance the partying with the class schedule in order to be successful.

You never want your GPA to be lower than your BAC.

We're answering the question in the OP. I didn't realize it was bragging to answer a question truthfully. Just because some of us fricked up early on in college like you're supposed to, doesn't mean we never shook back.

Exactly. Plus, I dig ditches now for a living and am like 99% happier than I was in college.

If you at least go to every class there is no reason you should ever get below a B in any given class at LSU. The school simply isn't that difficult.

Go through the chemical engineering curriculum and get back to me on that.

I got a 1.75 with 3 Cs, a D, and a W my first semester at LSU. My second semester I got a 4.0. Just shows you that GPA isn't an accurate reflection of a person's intelligence.
