Maybe your thermometer is out of wack......is it one of those temporal scanning ones? I'm really not a fan of the home versions of that or the one you put in your ear.

I thought the 98.6 temp was bull and the actual normal temp is around 99.5. So that would put you even lower. Maybe you're becoming a zombie.

My grandpa who just passed never got above 94.6 for the last ten years he was with us. They had to put him in a bath tub to take blood. It would quagulate (sp?) at room temperature.

Dude, 95-96 is not normal. I'd get that looked at for sure.

How tall are you? Taller people thermodynamically should have a slightly lower temp, and kids who are smaller usually have higher temps.

this morning, mine was 97.8, then when I got to the doctor's office about two hours later, it was 98.4. She didn't say if being under was abnormal or not.

That sounds normal for me. Doc says that my thyroid is kind of inactive. If you start putting on the pounds, you might want to see a doctor. Low metabolism causes your temp to run low.

I work in an ER and take temps all day long. I'd say most average between 97.5-99.0. Yours is low. It could be the thermometer though. And if get a core temp (rectal), if you're concerned, it's more accurate.
