More suspenseful than a pilot committing suicide.

it seems unlikely that there would be a complete lack of foresight and the people in control would take it way out to sea just to crash

Like I said earlier, pilot kills everyone, re programs the route and puts it on auto pilot then kills himself. Why? Who knows. Do I believe that happened? I don't believe anything at this point, although it's interesting to follow and speculate.

I'm beginning to rule out the likelihood of this plane landing anywhere. The countries in it's range are all very sensitive to their airspace. I'm afraid many of us just want that to be true for the passengers.

It's been my thought all along this was a hijacking gone badly. It may turn out to be a murder/suicide. I've never really felt they would find the plane intact.

Listening to the scanner as events happened was unreal. The TD thread about the scanner was epic.

I stayed up all night listening to the scanners and posting in the megathread. Was craziness.

This thread, while obviously awful in nature, has been a fascinating read.

And idk if anyone else is like me but I am obsessed with the Nat Geo show Air Disasters/Mayday/Air Emergency and all this does is make me wanna watch some more episodes.

Love that show. Shows you though that the overwhelming majority of air disasters are preventable.

All Nat Geo wants to show now are those damn Alaska reality shows. One should be enough. They hardly ever show good shite on that station anymore.

have any of you thought of the possibility of the plane being hijacked and then something happened to the hijacker and the plane flew that course into the Indian ocean until out of fuel.

Did you just boom bitch a week old article?

You are going to be the most disappointed person when news comes out the pilot crashed the plane in the Indian Ocean and it's not on the ground safe somewhere.

A theory I thought about, what makes you think this isn't a multi-step process?

Maybe I've been reading one too many books, but this could be a BIG step-by-step process and this is just step 1. What if all the passengers' bodies are still at whatever group's disposal and they're going to use it worldwide as a spectacle.

Fear can do a lot of things to people. Imagine 290 bodies and each country in the world has a body out in the open hanging or some bullshite. It'd be like right out of hollywood

Think they only show two. State Troopers and Ultimate Survival.
