For those of you who have cruised quite a bit. Trying to book a cruise for the end of this month, and am having trouble deciding on which cruise line to go with. I think I have narrowed it down to Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Holland America.

Nimitz, Enterprise, and Truman. Never been on them but you sure can't mess with those guys.

This is the OT. Cruises are for white trash.

Well these threads are usually followed by "what mouth wash will help me hide the most vodka?"

I've cruised Princess many times, really love the experience they provide. Have not been on Royal or HA, but would avoid Carnival.

Just don't ask how to sneak booze onto your floating walmart

Take Carnival off your list and add Celebrity.
Unless you are pretty young and like to drink a lot.
Then just go with Carnival.

My top 3 cruise lines that I have cruised on:
1. Oceania - taking a 12 day later this summer in Northern Europe. Have sailed on Oceania cruises 6 times now. The food is outstanding, for the most part an older crowd (meaning - none of the OT assholes that are crapping all over your thread). Only negative I have with Oceania is that the cruises are very port intensive, which can be quite tiring.
2. Celebrity - just a few notches below Oceania in my opinion. Food is decent, ships are nice, have good itineraries.
3. Princess - have never gone wrong with a Princess cruise. Again, just a notch or two below Celebrity, but really nothing bad to say
Holland America has taken a serious nosedive after being purchased by Carnival. It is truly a shame as it was an outstanding cruise line for a number of years.
Carnival - like others have posted, I would stay away from cruising on Carnival (unless you like cruising with the OT assholes who crapped all over your thread).

Holland America was great before Carnival bought them out.
I liked the smaller ships, never had a line for anything.
