I agree but I would love to have seen McDonald, Coogan, Peever, Schultz, etc vs these bats

Those guys are the reason they have new bats. NCAA had maybe 10% of guys who had low enough ERAs to matter back then and those were some of the cream of the crop

They basically fricked up the curve for the test for the rest of the league
Posted on 3/7/14 at 9:58 pm to tadelatt
How are they the reason for the new bats?
Posted on 3/7/14 at 10:00 pm to Topwater Trout
Because they were so flipping good, it really made the rest of the NCAA look bad lol

They were but still were "scared" to pitch inside back then.
I just remember Ben dominating Florida at the box one day. May have been best pitching performance I've ever seen...not a knock on Nola. Nola is my fav pitcher ever to play at lsu.

What's lsu record for these 2 streaks he's on

LSU record for scoreless innings is 44 2/3 by Big Ben. Todd Helton has the SEC record with 47 2/3. I don't think they keep records for the earned run streak.

Go back to 2009 and you'll see that, as a sophomore, Raunado had just as much to do with winning the CWS as Coleman. Secondly, while they may only be a a year apart in pro experience, Coleman is 3 years older than Ranaudo. As to the majors/minors argument, one is a reliever with the ROYALS, a team who hasn't made the postseason since 1985. The other is a starter with the RED SOX, a team that has missed the postseason twice while he's been in their organization.
Bruh, you serious with this argument?

Had the chance to sit in 2nd row last night behind home plate. The movement on his pitches are unbelievable

Aaron is so good I would let him sleep with my wife.

Only way to go. Then in 20 years that illegitimate child is a first round pick and your living the good life in retirement on some beach in the tropics.

Bugg is raw. He'll be mid to upper 90s next year. If he develops a consistent slider, he'll be The Friday guy IMO. No knock on Poche though.
