Today, a 60 day countdown has begun until the arrival of Fukushima radiation on the west coast of North America. The mass-media in the United States remains disgracefully silent despite the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) confirming that a massive plume of radiation in the Pacific Ocean is arriving. California, Oregon and Washington state will begin to get the worst of it -- within 60 days
Our media networks enjoy covering Miley Cyrus, the Kardashians, etc. but where is the media when it comes to a BIG story such as this?

Nuclear side effects are difficult to spin. Best to just let nature run it's course.

Physicians for Social Responsibility has insisted there is no safe level of exposure to radionuclides, regardless of the fact that we encounter them naturally:
There is no safe level of radionuclide exposure, whether from food, water or other sources. Period,” said Jeff Patterson, DO, immediate past president of Physicians for Social Responsibility. “Exposure to radionuclides, such as iodine-131 and cesium-137, increases the incidence of cancer. For this reason, every effort must be taken to minimize the radionuclide content in food and water.”

Seems kind of thin that the media in those states would not be reporting a big mass of radiation heading right for them.
Unless Beverly Hills, Silicon Valley and Redmond are quietly clearing out.

Brian Wiiliams told me about it on the NBC Evening News a few nights (Tuesday, maybe?) ago. Trace amounts of Cesium are on the way.

I have stopped buying produce from the west coast about a month ago

May be a stupid question, but how do you know which produce has come from the west coast? I've never given it the time of day to look, is there a sticker or something?
