Played in a soccer game with a couple of friends and we went for a beer afterwards. This new guy comes along and he seemed pretty cool. Then someone brought up the topic of money and this guy goes off on "government oppression". This leads to a myriad of conspiracy theories the guy has for a good 30 minutes. The guy that brought him mouthes, "Sorry" and the whole night was ruined.

some conspiracy theories can be thought provoking, but others are just absolutely laughable..a few I've heard in the past:

the government invented crack cocaine to wipe out
the African American race.

the twin towers never fell, and are actually still there, surrounded by an invisible force field.

the entire Republican party engaged in mass child-rape orgies and murdered them.

my personal favorite is those who believe we really didn't go to the moon. people seriously believe some really dumb and stupid shite, and it genuinely worries me.

Ruined?

Getting a conspiracy theorist all worked up is fun. Especially with alcohol and a crowd.

Just make some shite up and hit them with a bunch of "what if's"

Profit.

This is pretty stupid. I'm not naive enough to think the government has never done some shady shite that we don't know about, but some of the conspiracies are really not even plausible.

There are many types of conspiracists.

The ones that haven't figured out that Alex Jones is a shill are the worst kind. The Loose Change and Zeitgeist quoters are awful.

Most conspirators lack intellectual capacity, they watch some youtube stuff and regurgitate it online.

But there is more serious stuff out there that is galaxies away from the Alex Jones-youtube documentary realm.

For me I find it crazy to believe the official 911 story.

This is hardly a secret on this site, I was open about it from the very beginning.

By the way, your obsession is frightening. It's bizarre. You shared a link with all of my posts, none of which are conspiracy related, that's weird. Especially since I hadn't even contributed in this thread at that point.

"Dude you've never heard of how (insert conspiracy here)?! Seriously, the shite is nuts the (insert government entity/ media etc,) is completely full of shite. Go to youtube and search (title of shitty quality, conveniently edited, with stupid captions zooming in on random parts of pictures or people, "truth" video). After you watch that tell me you aren't blown away. The (repeat entity) is messed up dude."

Typical spiel from them now-a-days

The only conspiracy theory that I believe is regarding Sandy Hook, primarily because I think Obama would build a secret army and declare himself dictator for life if he could. I think the current admin is Hitler-level evil and capable of committing heinous crimes and perpetuating a fraud to get whatever law they wanted passed. I have not found any other conspiracy theory plausible, however. Does that make me a conspiracist?

Just my jimmies, man, just my normal jimmies. Think it's a bit bizarre to do what he did. I wasn't in this thread, linking my post history, it's just weird.

This, to me, is one of the more implausible ones.

It's frightening that you only entertain the Sandy Hook thing because of your feverish hate for Obama. It's probably one of the least plausible of all of them. The more I see into just how politically polarized this country is, the more I'm certain we are donezo.

What frightens you? That I read your posts and find many of them hilarious?

Your posting history is available to everyone. And, yes, many of your Poli Board posts do involve conspiracy theories. You don't consider them conspiracy theories. You refer to them as facts.
