Pacers had their chance last year. Everything pretty much went perfect for them and they still lost. Pacers started off hot this year, but Hibbert and George have cooled down considerably. And I still don't get the love for Hibbert. He's been a 9 & 7 guy on 42% shooting the last two months. That's turrible.

wow, someone let the Pacer's GM know they should just go ahead and throw in the towel now 2/3rds of the way into the season.

39 * 14 = 546

The sum of the jersey numbers of the Heat (excluding LeBron) is:

34 + 11 + 31 + 8 + 1 + 15 + 30 + 0 + 40 + 22 + 9 + 20 + 3 = 224

546 - 224 = 322

The digits of 322 are the number of rings that each of the Big 3 has. LeBron had to get hurt to make this work.

Therefore, LeBron James caused 9/11 and the assassination of Lincoln.

Everything was believeable until you brought in Lincoln.

Kennedy maybe, not Abe though.

lol at the Heat fans dismissing the Pacers again this year

Did they forget a much less deep and experienced Pacers team brought that series to 7 last year?

You can only fit 5 players per team on the court at any one time. And last I checked Miami still has 3 of the top 4 players on either team. I'm not dismissing them but that's not an insigificant fact.

Well you gotta consider the fact that the NBA usually gives the Heat one if not two gift wins in most series (at least in the Conference Semis/Finals and NBA Finals).

But there has been a lot of idiocy in this thread. I'd call out the guilty parties (well really it's one obvious person in particular), but I don't know what this board's rules on that kinda thing are.

Lol @ pacers.

Really wish they could add another star player to make things interesting though.

People want to keep doubting Miami every year. One year, eventually, they will be proven right. It won't be this year though.

What playoff game has the NBA ever "gifted" the heat?

Too act like he hasn't been an enormous role player in the past for them is hilarious. They might not win their first championship without him.

This is the dumbest argument the Heat-haters make. The Heat were winning those Finals regardless of whether Miller goes off in one game and hit a lot of 3s.

It's amazing how people refuse to see the truth when talking the Heat vs the rest of the East and the potential finals birth. It's "funny" to say the Heat have another gear to the haters but looking at the records it's the damn truth.

And Heat/Lebron fans aren't claiming they'll go undefeated in the damn playoffs, settle down people. But it's laughable that everyone gangs up on them and creates their own narrative every flippin year come the second half.

The Heat should be the favorites again this year and it kills some of y'all, which is sad.

Will they win it all? We'll have to wait and see....but right now, it's childish to not admit they're the best team in the league and have the best chance to win.

Btw why did only one guy answer my question about their record against good teams?

Anyways, Cap, this post wasn't directed at you.
