BREC and BR water are not dependent on LSU
Yea that was a stupid thing to say. Oh if it wasn't for great weather and port access, Los Angeles wouldn't be so huge. Rockford is silly sometimes.

BRPD and LSUPD are the states worst.
They're worse than Krotz Springs and Lavonia

As for BR I admit it's not New Orleans, but on the positive side, it's not New Orleans

That is the worst pizza I have ever had. Fleur de Lis

We are listing BREC places. BREC as a whole is a lot better than most Park Systems. I wish we'd abolish libraries and funnel more tax $ to BREC.

I utilize New Orleans City Park nearly daily and admit it needs more upkeep in certain areas.

Something about the sauce makes me think of ketchup and chef boyardee

Are there any nice things about Baton Rouge other than LSU?
It's a blast to go to the observation deck at the top of the capital building, lean way over the rim and look right down the side of the building. If you are four or five years old, it will scare the beegeebers out of your mom.
Lots of fun for a little kid. Nice, too.

Wouldn't exist without the petrochemical industry would be #1.
State government is #2.
LSU is #3.

Yeah my neighbors said it's really good. I'm definitely going to check it out.

Everything said so far, while not being directly related to LSU, wouldn't exist without LSU. I'm trying to think of something. I would have said it doesn't get very cold in winter, but that's out the window.
Standard Oil (Exxon plant) was built when LSU was a small school on the current site of the state Capitol.

I always forget about the downtown campus. Standard Oil plant was built in 1909. LSU was a very small campus downtown.

Br residents are spoiled by a system so robust. Almost every neighborhood has a playground that's always mowed and equipment is safe to use. Then other venues like the zoo, tennis, swamp, Day camps, walking tracks, skate Park, the indoor gyms, velodrome, BMX track, one of the biggest soccer complexes around, and football stadiums(Olympia and Memorial)
