Got some Slam coming in sometime next week. Would be my first. Hearing it's way better than last years (apparently the 13' wasn't up to standard)

This one has a great nose. A little sweetness followed by nice IPA bitterness.Smooth. Abrassive level I think. Not sure. Need further research.

Everyone I've talked to that has had both said the exact opposite. Said this year was disappointing after last year's. I really enjoyed last year, FWIW

Ive heard the same. Hopslam is a great beer, but not a tier 1 ipa/dipa imho.

I think I'm changing my opinion as it warms a little. While still good, it's getting more "malty". Still great. But when compared to some of the top ones, it's not quite there.
It's great to be able to have so many amazing beers and have problems like this. Viva la BXN and FBD

New Taproom opening up in Hillsboro. 34 taps. Gonna have Suge Knite, The Abyss, FW XVII, Hop Venom, Notorius, Double Jack, PTE, Sucks, Tank Slapper (Barley Brown's), BB XXV, Java The Hop, Rogue Hazelnut Brown, and others that I have never had before.
We have other taprooms on the west side, but none with this many quality beers. I'm sure the taplist right now is as good as it will ever get, but I am fired up. I got invited to the "soft" opening, tonight. I've got to figure out what I'm going to drink. Notorius, for sure... Probably go with some others that I've never had before...
