I think I came out of the drawing portion of that class with a 55. The second half of all SW stuff got me a C in the class
Mrs. Paige yelled at me multiple times for using stencils when I was drawing. Fact is, I just can't draw.

switch to electrical, circuits are way easier to draw.

I got an A in that class. It was one of my favorite classes in college.
What did you do for your final project?

Designed a crossbow that was easier to pull back. Did all of the SW drawings and realized half way through, it wouldn't even work. Turned it in and got a 90, I guess because she didn't notice that little fact.

Nice
I designed a lighter version of a fly fishing reel my boyfriend had. More holes, different material, and whatnot. The animation was awesome...got it to explode while it was reeling. My little sophomore self was very excited

Good luck on the tests if you can't figure out how to do a simple drawing
Yep, by test time you should be able to properly represent the drawing. Tests will be about displaying information, finding the missing dims, etc.

IIRC, they are either aluminum, titanium, or a mix of magnesium and some other metals, and they have a bunch of holes in them already.
I guess it was just a dumb drawing project, so it didn't really matter that much. Maybe that's why she didn't care that mine wouldn't even work

Someone already answered your question. You need to draw a plan view (view from above) and an elevation view (view from the side)
