eh. Palmetto is the nicest which is right next to Citrus. I thought Clearwater was pretty nice. I think newer than Citrus.

I've lived in the creeks off dickory for 3 years. You hear of things here or there. Nothing to make me feel unsafe. If I was a single lady I would still feel safe. Earhart expressway does make it fairly convenient too.

I would look around uptown. Try to find a basement apartment/mother in law suite type of setup to rent in a nice uptown neighborhood.

Bad advice. She'll be working 20 hour shifts downtown. Something closer would be better imho fwiw tbh.

When my friend was in nursing school she lived in Lakeview. Seemed to be safer than most spots and I think she liked living there.

All the people suggesting the Creeks at "River Ridge" (harahan) due to its "safety for single women" seems a bit baffling.

I'd be more worried as a single woman being carjacked or a victim of a stray bullet while sitting in traffic in the area where Erhart Expressway starts, than I would living in any number of places in the actual city itself.

I'm not trying to suggest one should genuinely be worried about that either, of course.
