Basketball Crowd up 24% from last season - Best in SEC

LSU leads the SEC in crowd change from last year (according to LSU media guide). Just a rebuttle for how to get people into the stadium, we are working on it. It takes more than a year, but this season has been a vast improvement from last year as the paid attendance has been up 24% from last year.
During SEC play, especially the Saturday games, LSU has actually had pretty nice crowds. Just a little positive reinforcement on the change in crowd.

While someone may want to come back at you with the old "well we started with shite, so 24% more is still shite," everyone else in the conference pretty much started with shite as well. Save for Kentucky.
Mizzou attendance is actually down I think. Ole Miss has their biggest attraction in years and still can't fill it up.

I've noticed the difference. There's been a lot less completely empty games, even those against poor competition.

This. Some of the crowds we got during the Trent era (even against teams that weren't terrible)were straight up laughable.

While I understand your comment, this isn't close to being true. LSU was just a bit over half full on attendance for last season and we're closer to 70% this season.

People will want to put down the student section, but student attendance has been pretty good this season as well.

Yeah, but the students that go are nerdy.

I've made the comment to my friends I normally go with that the upper level has been starting to fill up more. However, it seems like there are the same empty seats in the lower levels every single game.
