Dude you just went on a useless rant. I said Dwight was better. I said Cousins' d isn't bad.

Let's not forget that we're here because you challenged my assertion that Dragic should be in the ASG over Dwight by asking who I would take if I were building a team today.

1. But my point is how do you think Cousins is better when he is averaging only 4 more points on 5 more shots per game, which means a lower fg%, has an eFG% of 48% compared to Dwight's 58%, has less rebounds, less blocks, and is not nearly as good on defense?

About the only thing he is better at statistically is that he averages 4 more ppg... but he does it on 5 more shots per game.

You really don't have much of an case.

2. You argued that Dragic should be in the ASG over Dwight, which makes no sense because they play different positions. You say he's had a better season. I say he's not had a better season when you are not taking position into account. He may have a better season relative to other SG's compared to Dwight's season relative to other centers, but that isn't the argument you made.

His PER his better bc of his usage rate

no, not really.

it has to do with his ability to make a free throw, as well as the AST and STL discrepancy as compared to Howard.

Their rebounding is almost identical. Howard isnt a better rebounder.

He has also been playing a lot of PG because Bledsoe has been out. Makes it even more impressive that he has been so good at both spots.

Dragic was putting up similar numbers to Lin when Linsanity was happening. He's always been capable of this.

How has his season been better? Because his team is doing better than expected? A slightly higher PER?

Yeah, I know, I'm not arguing with you...but if you're going to gage his numbers as a PG, you can't really look at his assist numbers without taking out the first 20 games when he was the SG.

Take it for what you want, but Dragic has a 25.5 PER at PG and a 16.6 PER at SG which leads to his 22.86 PER overall. The 16.6 PER at SG puts him somewhere around the #12 SG.

His 25.5 at PG puts him only behind Chris Paul.

Is that better than using Chris Paul as an example of a top 5 player who played on teams that didn't go .500/miss the playoffs multiple seasons?

He's more deserving than Lillard imo.

And that's all it is, a fan's opinion. Lillard was elected by the coach to be in.

(I agree with that Dragic should be in, just there isn't a West player to take out.)
