With a few exceptions, most of these guys didn't light up the NFL, or even the college ranks. Food for thought as we obsess over recruiting rankings.

Those guys were Dinardo recruits that could've brought him back if they hadn't just completely fallen apart in '99.

I don't recall Walter Young. Did he ever make it to campus?

I see 3 guys who contributed to LSU at all. What am I missing?
That's good, but not exactly lighting it up.
Cole Pittman came in later after going to Texas first, right?

Preseason
Bradie was defensive player of the year postseason. Edwards was a ridiculous specimen. Looked like an NFL player in high school.

I always thought Albert Haynesworth was better than Cole Pittman (RIP), but Allen Wallace disagreed.

Nice find, I wish they still had GPA/SAT scores listed.

Lots of "who?" on that list but surprising number of guys still kicking around the NFL

Love how the list grades and tests.
Some pretty embarrassing scores there...

Some good names. When I was a kid I thought Cedric Cobbs and William Green were going to be transcendent RB's ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
