During the coldest winter of my lifetime.

I bet a lot of people up north would welcome that right now...

But it was warm for the Super Bowl!

I am sick and tired of you flat-earthers denying science. Havent you learned anything? these cold winters are caused by global warming. Now it is only going to get worse. If we don't do something soon we will all freeze to death.

What they don't understand is that you can't "reign in" climate change because it is a natural process. It's going to happen eventually.
The large amounts of glaciers formed from the Ice Age which was a natural radical climate shift. Typically, since the Ice Age, glaciers are going to steadily melt over the long term because the weather patterns aren't extreme enough to maintain that level of ice.
Then once enough melts, it will change ocean currents, leading to a drastic climate change that will balance everything out once again. Rinse, repeat.

Glaciers and Ice fields have been retreating since the 1700's. Before the little ice age, they were retreating as well.

2100? We won't make it past 2016!

you people realize that part of global warming is just more volatile seasons in general right??? saying global warming isn't real because this winter has been very cold is beyond stupid.
you've got to be willfully ignorant to ignore the mountains of evidence we have at this point but I guess this this is the poli board...

1: Climate change IS occurring. It is an observable, testable fact.
2: We can't reign it in or control it. It is a natural cyclical process that our planet will continue to go through until the suns radiation drives the temp up so much that the planet will become inhospitable several billion years from now.
3: We have minimal involvement in the process
4: No reputable scientist believes the temps will rise seven degrees by 2100.

I hope you are not so ignorant to think than humans can control and keep temps constant on the earth...

No it won't.
Agree but even if it does it will likely not be caused by human input.

None of the evidence backs up the hyperbole contained in that article. We are warming, but the article was shite

Those documents, maps, and drawings by explorers showing 250yrs of steady glacier retreat are fake. They must be.

This year's unusually cold winter is part of global warming... yet... a one year weather event is NOT an indicator of lack of global warming.
Do you not see the conflicting premise in that statement?

The earth is unhappy because BO won't disclose his birth certificate and college transcripts.
