I live in SW Miss and just built a house. I priced several places in BR and it was pricey. I ended up going with the Stone Shop in Picayune Ms. It was 29 a ft for 2 cm and 39 a ft for 3 cm. There is also a charge for sink/stove cutouts. We ended up going with Giallo Ornamental 2cm and couldn't be happier.I asked him if he would go to BR to install granite at my moms and he said yes he would, no problem. It's worth a call.

There are places in Houston where you could get it for dirt cheap... If you are willing to have the cut done after and can haul it back to your casa.

AMc granite did ours for about half the price as the others. They did a good job. Job through other contractors was going to run 5-6, they did it for 2700 and I bought the sink.

You should be looking at $36 sqft for a base color. St. Cecelia or New Venetian gold. If you have room in your budget go to Triton and you can easily double that number for an in style white this or that or add a good 50% by choosing something ending in a French wine sounding fancy name.
