I have to hand it to Rand. His political instincts are excellent. He knows exactly when and how to attack.

“They can’t have it both ways. And so I really think that anybody who wants to take money from Bill Clinton or have a fundraiser has a lot of explaining to do. In fact, I think they should give the money back,” Mr. Paul, Kentucky Republican, said. “If they want to take position on women’s rights, by all means do. But you can’t do it and take it from a guy who was using his position of authority to take advantage of young women in the workplace.”

Bill Clinton is a 5 star general in the war on women

dumb comment, imo. It is never smart to insult the most popular president of the 20th century.

It may not be at first glance, but it's actually brilliant. You put the Clinton machine on the defensive from the get-go with this war on women nonsense.

His dad didn't play games. That's exactly what this country needs right now. I don't know about you, but I've long-since had my fill of the game-players.

Let's not play dumb here. Rand is about to run against the Clinton machine and this is round 1.

This is not smart at all. It makes him look petty.

I think what Rand has realized is if you play it straight you can win 8% of the vote. He wants 52% of the vote, an electoral college win, and a mandate. This is just the cost of doing business.

The country needs someone who can actually do something.
Its easy to be idealistically pure, it is harder to get something done

He was talking about Clinton, not Reagan.

Wow, game playing? He is stating the truth and showing the hypocrisy of the left. I'm sure you had no problems with the "game playing" the left has done these past 6 years. So why does it bother you when someone actually speaks the truth?

It's funny...
Convenient to overlook someone (Clinton) who falsely called a woman a liar but I suppose if he pretends to be on your side, they'll still support.

Fiscal conservatives don't have the Media to be petty on their behalf. You need someone to differentiate themselves by telling the truth.
If you voted for Romney in the last election, you'd likely vote for Paul if he became the republican nominee. If you voted for Obama in the last election, pettiness does not bother you.

Rand Paul is over your head.
He's making a point but obviously you don't get it.

Nobody can legitimately complain about this, because it's not any more outlandish than the phony "war on women" tag the Dems accused Romney and the GOP of waging back in 2012.
And, don't give me this "20 years later" bs. Hillary is being talked up as a 2016 presidential candidate, so everything Clinton is relevant.
The one big difference will be the way the media handles this. They were "all in" on the Dem's phony charge in 2012, but I have a feeling they will see this as simply being mean-spirited.
