Hard to tell, but the caps are under a layer of that polyurethane stuff.

Whoever asked about the NOLA ICS cans, I hope you enjoy licking the inside of an aluminum can, because that's what it tastes like. I just don't get why NOLA beers can be really good on tap and so different from the can. I was so looking forward to ICS cans, but after one, I gave the other 3 away.

It was terrible, I tell you. I've only had one from the can, so maybe I need to try another. But the one I had was so metallic, it tasted as much like the can as it did the beer. It's great on tap. But nobody can deny that NOLA has issues with their beers tasting way different out of cans.

Thanks Kim, gotta give credit to the little lady for the layout. Her parents must be proud to know her design degree is creating art like this.

I've only had 4, but they were great. No metallic taste and very good.

I'm sure I'll try it again. Hopefully it was just a bad can.

Sounds like you're the only one having this problem, because I've enjoyed it out of the can as well

Oh and Nice work FT! I noticed your bottle cap collection had depleted from your pics

I don't even think they should can Mecha. It's so hit or miss. However now I only buy the beers strait from them and I haven't had any issues.

I have never had this problem with NOLA's cans. I drink the brown, blonde, and ICS out of the can. Have really been enjoying ICS out of the can.

Not sure how the can could cause a metallic taste anyway. I've heard other people say this. Can this really happen?

I know what he's talking about. Out of about the 6 4packs I've gotten, two had a weird metallic off taste. The others were great

Vindicated!

I'll have to grab another 4-pack and hope they went light on the aluminum dry hopping in that one.
