comparing it that way, jordan's numbers look even more crazy. look at the minutes and games played yet he still rackd up so many stats

I'd rather they do the stats based on their age, but cut out LeBron and Kobe's seasons when Jordan was in college.
Count LeBron and Kobe's first 3 seasons as their "college" seasons, and compare MJ, LeBron, and Kobe's stats from the same age starting with when Jordan entered the NBA.
I'd be interested to see that.

I agree. It is crazy to see how many scoring titles he won. LBJ will never be able to come close to MJ in shooting but his defense might make up for the difference.

Idk. MJ was 9x 1st team all NBA defense and won defensive player of the year once.
Kind of hard to "make up for the difference" against that.

Jordan and LBJ were clearly the best players on their championship teams and overall team every year of their first 10 years. Kobe was clearly that player only once (2005-2006) and that team didn't even win a playoff series.
That's why I laugh when people think Kobe is even top 5 in the history of the game. He came into by far the best situation of all three, and benefited greatly from it.

I love how some try to twist this argument as if it hurt Kobe. Fact is Kobe doesn't sniff any of those titles without Shaq. Kobe has earned 1 title as the best player on his team and was bailed out of single-handedly losing another one by Gasol.
Shaq to me is a better player than Kobe without question. His dominance in his peak was Jordanesque, while Kobe's peak is very overrated.

Kobe is certainly Top 10 and he is at least in the conversation for Top 5. Nothing to laugh at there.

No, but it has to be taken into consideration. I love how people act like he was taken into anywhere near the same circumstances as the other two.
From the 1999-2000 to 2002-2003 seasons (4 total) the Cavs averaged 27 wins.
From the 1981-82 to 1983-84 seasons (3 total), the Bulls averaged less than 30 wins.
The Lakers before Kobe? Went to the playoffs 4 of the previous 5 years.

If you gave me the ability to pick any 10 players to start my dream team, Kobe wouldn't be in it. He's not the best at his position historically. I'd take Jordan, Shaq, Chamberlain, Russell, Bird, Magic, Kareem, Hakeem, Malone, Oscar Robertson, Duncan, Gervin, and West.
The guy is a great player, and there is no doubt about that, but he is vastly overrated and has never been as dominant as his fanboys want to believe.

We already know that Kobe is the GOAT, so I'm not sure why you're trying to muddle the general consensus with these "facts" and "statistics." No need to rock the boat.
