Good lord, you people are taking this thread way too seriously
I was just trying to say that watching him play defense and block all those shots reminds me of Thomas as a freshman, and all you guys are trying to compare all their stats and everything.

Before the uconn game only person I knew that was really high on what thomas going to become was elleshoe. We met outside hartford civic center well before this board but he called that one dead on.
Mickey is much more polished than tyrus could dream of

Should I edit OP to say Jordan Mickey = Anthony Davis?

I'm not sure Mickey could accomplish all he has without a guy like JOB getting the D's attention like he does. It's really allowed him to develop without the pressure of being "the man" in the middle. That said, he's really special- is much better overall than Tyrus- and will be an absolute beast in the future. Hope he decides to stay.

Meh.... would Tyrus Thomas have been able to accomplish what he did without Big Baby getting all the attention??
A lot of people forget how awesome Big Baby was at LSU. He averaged like 19 and 11 that year with Tyrus.

absolutely! As of late, his stat line sure mirrors AD's. He's not as physically gifted as AD, but has potential to play like him. I'd actually say Mickey is more fierce than AD. AD more finesse.

Really more of a Chris Bosh in my eyes.

He's a mix of Davis and Bosh, minus the weirdness of Bosh.
