There, I said it. I felt it was more epic and badass.

Better than*

I have yet to watch Man of Steel. I'll probably sit down to watch it tonight. Thanks for the motivation.

Don't worry I felt the same way.
People will hate you for it on here, but let them deal. It's not your fault that you enjoyed a movie more than one that had predictability and campiness of a Saturday morning cartoon with the explosions and over use CGI of a Michael Bay film. Seriously, when I was watching the attack on New York, the whole time I was thinking: wait I thought this was Chicago and Sentinal Prime was trying to bring Cybertron to Earth. But no, if Joss Weadon does shite like that it's okay. I mean he really needs a pick me up considering that the Avengers and Buffy are the only two things he's done that has seen any type of success. But I guess that just makes him more the genius.

Yeah, none of this in Man of Steel.

the fights were way better. Superman saving the oil rig scene
And Zod vs Clark > then any fight in Avengers except Hulk
Avengers was too cheesy sometimes

See you missed the entire point. A lot of people on here think that the Avengers was the end all to be all comic book movies. When in fact it was a Saturday morning cartoon movie that is based off a comic. It had the same premise as Transformers 3 but because it was a glorified buddy cop movie with a lot of boom, boom, bang and Scarlett Johansson it gets the pass on being "good movie" when Michael Bay did the same movie the summer before. Basically, hypocrisy on the part of movie goers because it makes them seem smart because its easy to make fun of Michael Bay movies.

I enjoyed both honestly. They are different worlds and different tones. I enjoyed the comic book feel of Avengers and I appreciated the slightly new more realistic take on Supes.

No I didn't. I don't think you can say that The Avengers is some Saturday morning, Michael Bay, CGI shite fest and act like Man of Steel was above all of that.

The Avengers is not the best movie in the world nor the end all of comic book films, but it is easily a better film than Man of Steel.

Avengers had some good humor, great set pieces, and likeale characters. So did man of Steel.
