My mom always cooks them in gumbo with Vines deer sausage.Good stuff

Like any other duck pot roast em or put em in a gumbo. Nothing wrong with a Mallard, just takes a little longer to cook.

I bet after you cook these ducks and eat them, you'll stick to deer hunting.

I'm sure any experienced duck hunter woul me the way I cleaned them but oh well. I filleted them and will prob just make a gravy or something.

I'll never cook a whole mallard again. Breasts on grill, stuffed or not.

Gumbo.

Boil them with trinity and garlic to make a stock.

We shot a few the other day and I just mixed up some flour and deep fried them for a quick meal. My son loved them.
