They're in the discussion, but the Rams were superior at virtually every position
I'll go ahead and take the 1989 49ers, they also had a QB that was not too bad in the playoffs.

Hoping for a great game
Arguably the two best positional units going at it, Denver's receivers vs Seattles secondary

Can't argue against them. They were a special group.

The best defense in the NFL, as in this year.

yep...I would also take the 94 49ers, and 98 vikings in terms of better offenses.

2011 Saints would like a word with all of you. Not only set the passing record, but a top 4 rushing team that year as well.

They still have the total yardage record, too. Broncos only broke the scoring record.

Bobby Wagner/ Kam Chancellor vs. Knowshon Moreno/Montee Ball.
interested to see how this shakes out.
on the other side, I'd be worried about Lynch.
Russell Wilson doesn't always have the impressive stats but usually it doesn't matter... thanks to the Seattle D.

You get the same treatment as the Broncos this year.
An asterisk.
Defense play and rule changes have changed the game too much on the defensive side of the ball to accurately compare with their predecessors.

Rules are different. They wouldn't be throwing all over the place if they had to worry about Ronnie Lott killing them.

It's not like there are a bunch of teams this year with a ton of points. Broncos are the first team to break 600 points. They averaged 38 points a game. Next closest was the Bears at 28 points a game. The Broncos averaged 10 points more per game than anyone else this year. That offense is definitely in the GOAT discussion.

The 2007 Patriots are playing again? SWEET

I disagree with the Saints getting an asterisk considering we were bad arse at running the ball that year as well. We were a complete and total offense and that's why to me it stands out more than the Broncos this year because it was basically Manning just launching it all game.

It is what it is. You cant argue the numbers/increase since the rules changes to protect the QB and limit "how" DB's can hit in the secondary as well as changes to other rules.
Im not saying that that Saints team didnt have a good offense, the did. Hard to arbitrarily just say they are the best because of inflated numbers compared to their peers in other eras.
Its just not the same. Arguing otherwise seems a little crazy.

Those are the 2 best offenses I've seen in my 20 years of watching football. 07 Patriots as well.

'89 Niners - '07 Pats - '00 Rams - '84 Dolphins - '98 Vikings...
Are the best offenses I've ever seen.
And '89 Niners are above them all.
This Broncos team isn't in the Top 10 let alone top 5 GOAT offenses...if we adjust their numbers and proficiency by taking into modern factors of today's basketball on grass game, Goodell's rules and weakness of opposition in the Broncos season.

TIA for this analysis. Otherwise, you are joust spouting BS with zero actual statistical analysis. The eye test basically means you are too lazy to do the analysis or the actual facts do not support whatever you want the narrative to be.
Broncos had 5 separate players score at least 10 touchdowns - no other team in history has had more than 3. Broncos were by no means one dimentional as others have implied. They have a 1,000 yard rusher with 10 rushing touchdowns plus a 500 yard rusher. They had a top 15 rushing attack to go with the far and away number one passing attack.
