"If Bret Bielema doesn’t promote Randy Shannon to defensive coordinator (which I hear he isn’t going to do), don’t be surprised if Shannon contacts Richt."

He said in the same article that he was guessing.. so no.

Shannon isn't wanting a DC job right now, hence he's turned now 4 jobs since last year.

Either way, he's gonna get a new title and nice pay bump when we hire a new DC.

We will take ALL of your coaches. ALL of them. Search your feelings, you know it to be true. They will all inevitably turn to the Dawgside...

If Shannon doesn't get the job and stays, it's because he doesn't want to be a DC (which is the word around here).

If Shannon doesn't get the job and ends up elsewhere as DC, Bert is an idiot.

If Shannon turns to the Dawg Side, he sure as hell won't be DC, but we'll gladly bring him in as LB coach.

holy shite

Just because someone tweeted that Oregon or ECU may be interested in Shannon doesn't mean he turned them down

and no shite he's not gonna leave for Louisville

If UGA offers, he would be dumb to turn it down

It'd be a huge step up for him to go to Georgia, even for the same position.
