LSU has comits from 3 #1 prospects at their position . . .

So we have LF, Adams and Garrette who are all #1 at their positions. Does any other program have 3 or more #1 comits?
Pretty impressive and I think this would make for a good recruiting tool for other top uncomitted prospects. Since Durpe just passed Speedy as #1 WR he needs to come to LSU where the big dogs eat.

What site is Adams #1 on? I see #2 and #3...but who cares what number he is?! Does he work hard? Does he listen? Does he have a want? And does he love LSU?

I am sure there are many LSU fans here that can find ways to poo poo our class because the rest of the "SEC is passing us by"

Our class this year is good as is IMO. Lot of character guys with talent. Guys like Battle and Voorhies get almost none of the talk but they're just as good. Bama's loading up and UF is flipping guys left and right. I see it as we can compete with everyone in the SEC and not all the high talk guys are going to be what they were in high school.

Not the best nickname.

Composite has Adams as the #2 safety and Dupre as the #2 WR. So we could potentially end with the #1 overall player and #1 RB, #1 OLB, #2 S and #2 WR. That's a pretty stout haul.

If we can keep clark, then we have the best player in Oklahoma. Voorhies is the best player in Ms. This class will still be one of Les' best regardless.

hate to say it, but this is where natchams start and finish. saban knows it and it is the reason why CLM went out and got Grimes. when CRob committed to bama he, essentially, punched Studs ticket to ride.

If you read the link to Dandy Don I posted above it states that Clark re-confirmed his comittment to LSU in an interview with BayouBengalsInsider. Hopefully he's sincere.

With Brick Haley staying put (why was it rumored he might be leaving? NFL called?) and Grimes coming in, I expect LSU to start dominating OL and DL recruiting very quickly.
I do think that was the one difference in this year's comparison of the two teams: OL talent/technique/nastiness.

NFL job offer I believe. And Grimes, oh yea. Hopefully the combination of Grimes and Frank will rebuild the fence around here. Big things, BIG THINGS!
