Like I said, unless another member wants to give up one of theirs so the final tally wouldn't change it's a bad thing

If y'all are on DMAP I don't see a problem shooting more does as long as y'all are under the limit they set and as long as he's not taking any of yalls allotment.

But, you definitely have a right to voice your opinion since y'all pay the same amount and have rules in place. Keep in mind, If you raise too big of a stink you might be looking for another place to hunt next year.

Correct nodust.
FTF I agree. It happened 2 years ago and nobody said anything cuz he is old. But I'm sorry. Old or not I pay the same damn amount and you know where I hunt. It's not cheap.

I would raise hell. Unless you can do the same thing next year and nobody would bitch.

Play by the rules or have no rules.

I see your point slick. If it was a club rule I would be OK with it. But this change shite as you go attitude is why I am pissed.

It will be a cold day in hell when I get "ran off" this property lol. Me and the land owner are like grandfather and grandson. But my so called club president is a fricking joke.

6 people, you are related to 2.

You have 50% of votes.

You just have to convince 1 other guy on your side.

maybe say that he should get an extra doe too or you all should now.

We have plenty of does. But we are 600 acres in a limited area. If I had 3 doe tags and only wanted to shoot 1 and gave my other 2 to another member well then hey ok different story. But my favorite deer meat is doe meat lol. Problem here isn't amount of deer. Problem here is bullshite "club" rules.

But on a different note. After this weekend I have until February 15 to shoot whatever the hell I want. So I might just turn into the a-hole member of the year? ?

So after I called the club president I pulled up at my camp and the guys that were in question were on the phone. Haven't seen them since. But they are still here. Thinking they are gonna try and shoot one more in the morning and then see me next year

I'm courious as to what it costs to be in a hunting club like the one described here. I've never really hunted much, but my oldest is wanting to start. West feleciana area seems like it would be convenient, but I have no frame of reference on the cost.

OP- not asking for your costs, but just a range for a similar size and number of hunters in the club.

I will say that I pay more than I want. But I drive 1 hour from my house. And if I need anything I am within 30 min of BR and kill nice deer. And my club is really easy hunting.

Brother, you need to let it go.

It's one deer.

It's hunting.

It ain't about justice.

Sometimes the deer hunting gods take...
and give away.

Suck it up and forget about it. You have a place to hunt. Enjoy it.
