My thoughts are that as president, he can exercise presidential powers. The same powers that every other president has done. Here's the EOs of past presidents compared:

Obama 161
Bush 291
Clinton 364
Bush 166
Reagan 381
Carter 320
Ford 169
Nixon 346
LBJ 325
JFK 214
Ike 484
Truman 907
FDR 3522
Hoover 968
Coolidge 1203

So Obama is well well below the average of EO's for each president but for some reason... I don't know what it is, the far right screams panic when he does what every other president has done or doesn't do when no other president has done.

Examples:

No president has ever released his college papers or transcripts but Obama should.

All presidents take extended vacations but Obama shouldn't.

Whether its appointing czars or ignoring the War Powers Act or not enforcing a particular statute or people getting killed in foreign embassies, for some reason when it's this president, we see panic from the Right.

So you tell me. Why is that?

Bush released his undergrad transcripts, no idea on his graduate transcripts. McCain released his during the campaign. Reagans from Eureka College are available for perusal at his library.

Don't know about the rest, took just a few minutes to check those.

Obama is outpacing Bush for executive orders, as an example, if you do a per month average based on the number of months Obama has been in office compared to Bush's full term.

Plus, Obama is promising to increase his use of EOs and a second term probably leads to more anyway.

So your point is really kinda worthless.
