My new Glock 19 jams a bunch

Bought it the other day and it had only had about 5 rounds shot through it. Yes,i know you remember that thread so let's not dwell on the fact it may have had more that 5 shot through it.
Anyway,I'm not limp wristing it at all, have 3 clips. Two factory and one aftermarket. Also have 3 different types of ammo and it will just randomly jam no matter what clip or ammo is in the gun at the time. Ran through 160 rounds yesterday and it jammed up no less than 7 times on me. Doesn't really give me an easy feeling about the gun.
All three clips also seem to fit a little lose. I am hitting the butt of the clip pretty hard to make sure it's seating all the way in but there's like a 1/8th inch gap between the bottom of the clips and the butt of the gun.
Ohh,BTW,This is a GEN 3 9mm if it makes any difference.

Maybe try cleaning packing grease out of the gun, maybe take it to a gunsmith, maybe get your panties out of a wad.

Im sure it is something simple. Small part somewhere just needs to be replace I bet. Have a gunsmith check it out.
Ask the 1911 guys about small parts, they will go on for days about them

MJ2,
I would bring it somewhere and have it checked out, guy you got it from may not have ran many down the pipe, but could have damaged something stripping down or may just need to run some rounds through it to break it in, although I have a gen 2 .40 cal and never had one hang on me.

With the 1911 love here you know this topics was going to bring out the haters... Did the jammed casings have any marks on them?
Posted on 1/13/14 at 7:31 am to meauxjeaux2
Does the warrant follow the gun? Didn't you buy it from some guy?
