Book on racial violence. [link=((Amazon Link))]https://www.amazon.com/White-Girl-Bleed-Lot-Violence-ebook/dp/B00E8NCA7G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389369140&sr=8-1&keywords=white+girl+bleed+a+lot[/link]. Subtitle: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore it
I haven't read the book, but I have read the introduction, and one of the first things is a list of cities the author says are "under attack."
Absent from the list are New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Given the highly diversified populations in those cities, and in Louisiana in general, why haven't we seen much racial violence in recent years here?
Was there a single reported incident of "the knockout game" in Louisiana?

Since when is BR diverse?
Posted on 1/10/14 at 10:23 am to idlewatcher
Baton Rouge is 50% black 40% white

It's not anymore since all the white people moved to St. George.

It is my belief that the attitude of the revolutionary class (ebony lumpen proletariat) in New Orleans has not reached the appropriate stage of development. Its has not developed the political ability and thus remains in a period of political subjection.
Why is the question? They are clearly sufficiently violent, and are marginal in society. It is either the result of the group being too fricking stupid to follow the path of history or they have been screwed by the vanguard of the proletariat that has been co opted by the regime.

What is so hard about subject-verb agreement ?

Hmm. So you're suggesting it's only a matter of time?

Ironically, it seems the south in general doesn't get near the racial violence that northern cities do.

Open carry state.

The only truly southern city in the list was Birmingham.
2 plausible explanations that come to mind.
- Southerners more likely to be armed
- Racial distrust in both directions is greater here, so people are just more aware

I think the cause today is different from the origin. I imagine that a lot of it does come from holdovers from Slavery followed by Segregation, but while those may count for black-on-white crime, it doesn't explain the incredibly high ratio of black-on-black crime.
My belief is that these high-violence communities have entered a never-ending loop of violence begetting violence because that's all they have known (this becomes even moreso as newer generations are born into -and live almost exclusively within- these communities).

Translation...armed REDNECKS ABOUND!
Even dogs can smell the innate pecking order. I've seen little dogs challenge the big ones. WTF. Who knows why? It's there.

ok - no Asians? Meskins? O'Flanneries from Ireland?
People use "diverse" way too subjectively.
