Looking for some new uninsulated rubber boots I can wear around the farm and do some hunting in. I've got wide feet and big ankles so I don't want anything that fits tight around the ankle. Surely there's gotta be another fatty on this board who can help me out

Lacrosse burly is a good all around boot.
Mucks are nice, and light, but they stick to my feet and are a pain to get off.

You talking about just regular ol' cheap black rubber boots?

I have a wide foot. Found some good ones at Academy.

there is a reason so many people recommend Lacrosse boots

the "ankle grip" ones fit snugly around my ankles. the burlys should work well for your muffin top feet

The shrimpers in Bayou La Batre come in my store wearing the white ones all the time. We call 'em the Bayou Nikes

I've got a pair of these.

They are very comfortable. Easy to get into with the side zipper, and you can leave it unzipped if you want.

I wear a 4E. Get Muck boots, just pay the price, and you'll be comfortable in cold as well as cold weather.

Lacrosse Burly sounds about right. Cajun Reeboks if you want to go cheap but they are about the most uncomfortable thing you'll ever put on your feet
