LF's potential....do you think he will surpass what Kevin Faulk produced

during his time as a tiger?
During my lifetime (36 yrs) Kevin Faulk was the best RB to play at LSU.

he has the potential to surpass Faulk but it would be silly to predict it right now.. any number of things could happen that would prevent him

If Fournette is as good as Jeremy Hill, I will be really happy.
Hill just ran for 1400 yards in basically 12 games. Why doesn't he get more love from LSU fans?
When have we seen a guy run for 1400 yards - the second highest total in LSU history?

Yes, the potential is there.
Haven't missed an LSU home game in 21 years...Collins was the best pure talent I ever saw at RB.
LF can be better than him.

He does, absolutely. But Faulk was an absolute beast. From his Wiki:
LSU career all-purpose records
Most career all-purpose yards (6,833)
LSU career scoring records
2nd most points scored in a career (318 points)
LSU career rushing records
Most career rushing yards (4,557 yards)
Best career yard-per-rush average (5.32 yards per rush)
Best career yard-per-game average (111.2 yards per game)
Most career rushing touchdowns (46)
Most career 100-yard-rushing games (22)
Most career 200-yard-rushing games (4)
Most career 1,000-yard seasons (3)

I loved Faulk, but Hill just shattered the expectation for the position this year. Go to The Rant and see the appreciation thread and his numbers. No running back at LSU compares...from Alexander, to Faulk, to Hilliard. People should not let whatever issues they may have with Hill the person (I don't have any FWIW) get in the way of their appreciation of Hill the player.
That being said, Fournette has the raw ability to be as good or even better that Hill just was. Hopefully he stays healthy, has a solid OL to run behind, etc.
And I'm 43...

I was turned onto football by Herschel Walker's freshman season. Asked my brother who was our team. He said LSU. Been looking for our Herschel Walker ever since.
Thought I found it in Cecil Collins for about 3 games. Faulk filled the void admirably. Jeremy Hill has been probably the closest in terms of physicality.
But I truly believe Fournette will finally be the legendary big power/speed combo back I've been waiting to see in P&G for the last 34 years.

Can he graduate high school first before we start putting him in conversation of LSU all time great? Jesus.

Fournette has the potential to be the best running back LSU has ever had. He was an all-purpose nightmare at St. Aug. Cameron will have an elite receiving threat out of the backfield who can house it every time he touches the ball.

He is going to kill him in receiving and receiving TDs. He's also going to be looking at 15+ carries a game for 3 years straight. He has the talent to do in three years, what Faulk did in four, he just needs the carries. He also has a shot at being KR.
I'd say 600 carries at 6.8 ypc (4080 yards)
100 catches at 10.4 ypr (1040 yards)
He's going to be a better version of Todd Gurley and Trent Richardson.

If LF stays healthy he will smash all LSU records. Mark my words.
He will play from day 1. I don't care what anyone says. The road has been paved for HIM.

Hill had a better season this year than Kevin Faulk ever had, splitting carries with three other backs. Faulk still has the better legacy than Hill, but Hill proved that it definitely can be done.
I think Fournette definitely has a shot at surpassing Faulk for a career.

KF played for all four years. I highly doubt LF will stay beyond three, if he has similar success. So, unless LF can accomplish more in three years than KF did in four, I don't think he will.

IMO, the answer to your question depends on the strength of his o-line once he is getting significant carries.

If you're talking about production...possibly.
If you're talking about records...no. Sadly, if he comes anywhere close to Faulk's records, he will be long gone to the NFL before breaking them.
