Maybe. But I can see an argument that with legalization there will be an increase in buyers (users) because the stigma of getting arrested is removed. As wth any product, if there is an increase in demand, there is an increase in price.

True, but this is an easy crop to cultivate and even at much lower market prices there is plenty of money to be made by farmers. This is all assuming government isn't going to decide to overregulate the market. (I know, )

This may shock you, but "because it's illegal" or "I don't want to get arrested" is pretty far down on the list of reasons that the majority of people out there don't do drugs.
