And that is the tragic part of this entire thing. What people don't realize is that by having the polar ice caps expand through climate change, that the earth will become top-heavy and unstable. It is likely that we will slip off our axis and hit Jupiter if we don't donate $3 to OFA today.

So there's a ship stranded at sea, surrounded by ice, and people on the board think it's funny?

Oh yeah, I bet the crew of that vessel is just dying of laughter right about now.

You people don't know when to put your ideology down and offer up prayers.

Not funny, rather extremely ironic. Serious question though, with all of the scientific instruments out there, why didn't they have warning that this could happen?

I could see getting pissed at the egg-heads, or even the captain for putting that ship in danger, but I guarantee you that the crew is not appreciating any irony right now. The captain is probably considering his resignation if he ever gets back to port.

Is anyone in danger of dying?

Seriously, I just read where people were stranded for three years in Antarctica and survived. Surely they can be restocked with supplies, etc. right?

Wonderful news.

Helicopter pilots braved Mother Gaia's fierce global warminations and were able to rescue all the passengers from the icebound vessel. The crew remained behind on the ship hoping the summer thaw might release them in mid January. They're running ever fossil-fueled engine on the ship 24/7 in hopes of creating a CO2 shroud to battle the icy fury of Mother Nature's latest reaction to the Koch brothers.

Oh my that's hilarious.

I guess now that they are rescued they can run around screaming that the sky is falling again....either by the coming ice age, global warming, or climate change.

They had a close call when Algor proposed giving a Climate Change conference at a nearby location, but wiser heads prevailed knowing such a conference would cause the whole ship to be covered in snow.

Did you see the video of the rescue on CBS? They were happy as can be, even had a big new years eve party in a tent or something...

Well the British inventor of the Segway dying by driving his Segway off of a cliff was very ironic as well!
