The wild card in this game is Jennings. Iowa doesn't have any tape on him but the kid can play. The defense for Iowa have a lot more to worry about than they know. Difference in the game.Tigers win!!!

I don't get the big deal here. He sure as hell is not going to say that they don't stand a chance.

I love all the people that say, "what is he supposed to say? we're going to lose?"
How about nothing? Don't say anything. If someone baits you, don't take it. Is it that hard?

Once you watch the Iowa film, you fall asleep.

For a 10th time in 11 postseason appearances under coach Kirk Ferentz, Iowa is an underdog.
LSU is a seven-to-eight point favorite over the Hawkeyes as of Thursday.
That shouldn’t faze Ferentz and his players.
Iowa has won six of 10 bowls under Ferentz, five of the six as underdogs.
“We always play with that chip on our shoulder,” Iowa lineman Brett Van Sloten said according to hawkcentral.com. “Coach always says the most hungry team will win.”

I think it'll be a battle.
Iowa is clearly a program with a proud winning tradition. I'm not sure how anyone could expect them to lack confidence or not bring their very best.

Well, the Tigers didn't exactly prove to them that they should be impressed.

Considering a WR said that, LSU absolutely proved him wrong. The defense was fantastic today.

This game would have been a blowout had Mett played.

And the refs helped keep Iowa in the game

This. Their offense didn't do much. It was their defense and special teams that kept them in the game.

What??? It will be so much fun pounding LSU. On top of that my best friend's son is marrying a well to do Cajun crazy girl from Naw Oleans next June and I can rub it in to their whole family after the big time win.
What a clown! I wonder how much rubbing he got to do after Iowa's big performance yesterday.

He should and can be a great dual threat but the Iowa game was not the time. No doubt he was given a game plan the was "safe" for him and the team. Hopefully next season we will see a solid power game as well as bootlegs & passes off the bootleg.
His passes were high due to his rigid stance in the pocket. Also he was sacked 4 times. This hurts confidence. With an altered offense that is more open he'll be fine.

Other than illegally blocking their way to a win vs LSU in the '04 season, what do they have over LSU? No conf. titles in the past 10 seasons. No nat'l titles in > 5 decades. What's left, greater annual production of corn than LA?
