B12 team home and away? Are you talking about Iowa State? ISU/Iowa is in in-state rivalry rather than a B10 B12 match-up Our neutral field is at least a powerhouse in the B10, being Wisconsin... LSU has tried to schedule a home and home or neutral field with Iowa but they will not do it.. And for Iowa what does it matter if it's a neutral site or home and home, Iowa travels no matter what

The masses of Iowa fans wear the black and gold glasses. If they beat LSU most of them will be screaming that they will win it all next year. OH and look at there schedule for the 14 season. Has IOWA ever opened a season with a real OPP?????

I thought we would go 7-5 before the season. After watching the first couple of games, my expectations skyrocketed because our offense looked awesome and we hadn't see the woefulness of our defense yet. After losing to Ole Miss is when I lost hope and Alabama put the icing on the cake. But looking back to my original expectations, this was a "good" year
I agree with all of it except for the last part. I say this because we lost to Bama in 12, Clemson in 12, UGA in 13 and Ole Miss in dang near the exact same fashion. Some said this year that we lost because our D was so young. Well what about last season???? Last 2 min of a game. I now feel like those all could have been won.

I watched almost every Iowa game this season and when the Iowa vs Ohio St game came up, I posted on fb that morning that Iowa would upset them. That they have a way of playing great in the big game. My buddy "hawk fan" said no way man. Said 37 to 17, and im being nice. I believed they would use that TE all game. NOPE. those boys play like champions for 1 half. They stay in the game with TE play. PA to the TE. Im telling you, shut that down and its over.

I think Iowa has a solid fan base. They do better than the Cyclones so most pull for the Hawks. And its wind chill -20 there today. Of course they're going to Tampa. I have stated this on other sites. When Iowa gets 8 wins and a Florida bowl its like the super bowl to most of them. If Iowa beats LSU in this game, the masses of Iowa fans will claim they're better than the SEC. I for one would love to do a HOME and HOME with Iowa to open the season.
