DOCSIS 3.0 is the tits (cable modem upgrade)

Just upgraded my cable modem to a Motorola SurfBoard 6121. Comcast/Xfinity sent me a letter a few months ago that they had upgraded my service but my old DOCSIS 2.0 modem couldn't take advantage.
So, I just upgraded, and:

I bought the SBG6580 On Amazon the other day for $69. Said it was a factory refurb but when I unboxed it it was brand new. Cox internet service i was renting a cisco modem/wifi/router combo for like $9 a month.
Figured I'd give this one a try and it's signal is much faster and reaches much farther.
I like it.

Yep, I upgraded with Comcast a few months ago and now am getting 65 x 15.

Charter gave me a new modem to take advantage of docsis 3.0 and I was shocked to see I got a performance boost even though the modem I already had was supposed to be fast enough.

Casty, I just got a Cisco DPC3825 DOCSIS 3.0 from Cox, but it doesn't reach to the ends of my house. I also have a Ubiquiti AirRouter that I bought a few months back when my other router crapped out.
I'm having my house wired for cat5 in the next few days, and I obviously don't know jack shite about this stuff, but can I use both of these components to spread my network throughout my house?
I'm at gmail, if you'd like to give me a pointer or two. Thanks.
