As hunting season comes to a close in roughly one more month....
What are your go-to pre-spawn and spawn bass fishing lures, tips, etc.

Very cold - deep single colorado 1/2 ounce spinner bait
Cold - deep swim bait
Just kinda cold - slow double willow spinner bait, C-rig lizard and Rattle Trap
Warming up - shallow spinner bait and minnow type baits like rogue and rapala, then weightless plastics.

Pre spawn- lipless cranks- usually in a red color, C-Rigs, and tx rigs.
Spawn- jig, fluke, senko, and chatterbait.

Lipless crankbait hands down. I like to throw the rat-l-trap in chrome and red with red hooks just over the grass. You have to tickle the top of the grass and rip it when it gets bogged down. I find myself thinking about fishing while on the deer stand this time of year. Cant hardly wait.

My favorite prespawn bait is a 1/4 oz chartreuse and white humdinger. I've caught way more fish on that in late January through March than anything else. Reel it slow enough to tickle the grass.
Second would be a lipless crankbait in red shad or chrome blue.

By pre-spawn I assume that you're talking about when the fish are schooled up in deeper water?
Pre-spawn: Slow moving jigs fished off of points 20-30' of water. Rip baits over grassy areas in 10-15' of water. Drop shotting worms on grassy banks looking for early entrants of the spawn game.
Spawn: Wacky rigged worms near beds. Frogs over beds.
Out here on the west coast we are definitely at least two months from spawn and I was able to find a few of these beauties right at the edge of the grass banks in about 10-15' of water.

I only fish spawn or right before spawn and always use a white Fluke.
Presentation is everything though. Never use it on rivers. Always a spinner on rivers or crank. But that's rare for me.

I love to fish rogues pre spawn . Also flipping grubs on jig heads and tubes to the ends of piers . Then the water gets in the upper 40s and low 50s i throw a bandit 200 series a ton . For bedding fishing during spawn ill hit em in the head with a beaver till they get sick of looking at it and bite it . i usually fish a black and blue or mean green crawgator jig if they wont hit anything else

Damn dude, way to ruin Christmas.......
I got to get my yo-yo fishing for SacaCrapiPerch on before I can focus on catching bass and that's not till duck season is over.

Agree with the lipless CB prespawn. Only posting so this thread is saved in my responses in another month when I am searching for all these answers.
