Haha. Is it now Louisiana State Univeristy, A&M College, and School of Withcraft and Wizardry?

I obviously had a mental lapse and was thinking of quidditch recruiting.

Yes... yes they are. VT is worlds better than Nebraska, but you must be remembering 10 years ago like it was yesterday.

UGA lets all their elite talent slip out of state. If UGA could keep their in state kids at home they would have at least been to a NCG a couple of times by now.

I just watched that gif about 20 times

That throw It was about 47 yards downfield from the right hash all the way out past the numbers on the left side of the field. Maybe he doesn't have elite arm strength, but that's plenty good enough to get the job done.

Not comparing them, or the conditions, but I saw a pro QB try to throw a Hail Mary this weekend from about the same place, barely make the 10 yard line... I'm really anxious to see what he does in other areas of the game in the Outback Bowl...

I think it's because he doesn't throw "on a rope" that people say he has a weak arm

that ball didn't need to be on a rope. A lofted throw is exactly what Dural needed to get the TD

Too small, and a weak arm. Scouts don't notice the intangibles like Les does.

Surely you're trolling.

IDK, his arm strength is average at best. I'm a big fan of jennings, but there's no denying this is a bit of a weakness.

He might not have Jamarcus arm strength but not many do. Watch his 99yd drive against Arkansas. He made some pretty incredible throws other than the TD pass.

By the time Jennings and Harris leave LSU, LSU fans will start comparing our QB program to some of the best, like Purdue. And the RB will declare LSU the new QBU.

How is Nebraska second tier? Their run in the nineties were legendary. Let's not bury their program yet.

It's been 20 years since their run started and they haven't done anything since

Anthony Jennings reminded me a lot of Tajh Boyd in HS and still does now. Both can definitely run, but neither looks for it first thing if receivers aren't immediately open.

One big difference is the arm strength. Not necessarily that Jennings has a much weaker arm, but the ball just explodes out of Boyd's hand (which is not always a positive thing). Jennings has a much better arm than some with give him credit for, and it will only improve before next season.

Unless Jennings comes out and puts on a clinic against Iowa, I wouldnt necessarily say there won't be at least some QB competition before next season.

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember AJ being committed to LSU prior to the Elite Camp. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been watching him. If so, that says that Miles and staff were good evaluators.
