Wendy's on State St by LSU

I noticed that in a span of about 2 days, Wendy's had closed down, removed all signage,put black plastic over the windows, and the roof was altered as to not resemble a Wendy's.
Anyone know what happened? I'm getting a real bad "someone got murdered" or "rat poop found in Chili" vibe.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and there's a "For Lease" sign on the front....

remodel while school is out for the break i guess. that wendy's is old as shite. I wish something worthwhile would move in next door to the vacant lot or the old gatti's

Not sure, but that's one of the worst Wendys in human history.

Since they closed I've been saying I think a bar with pizza by the slice would be cool.

It's remodoling that's all. Slowest Wendy's in human history but that's my go-to after gamedays and before Serranos. Better not close down while I'm in school

here is my wish list:
Pho/Bahn Mi sandwich and taco place. I also mentioned this to the girl that basically runs Deng's out in BFE baton rouge, and she seemed to be intrigued by the idea. That place would rack up on college kids and cheap eats.
Pizza by the slice or something like Zepplin at lunch time
Good deli and sandwich shop. Somewhere I can get a good pastrami or rye, italian beef, or other types of deli sandwiches.

That would be awesome, and I love the idea but may be pretty risky. It's a really big building. That and Pho/Bahn Mi is still really kind of an underground thing. I think something everyone is more comfortbale with like pizza and po-boys would be less risk.

Inga's covers this well enough for the college crowd I think.

I lived around the Northgates for my 5 years of college and wore that place out. Sometimes it's the only thing that'll hit the spot. Inga is a nice lady, too.

I actually had a burger from wendys the other day that DIDNT make me disappointed that the meal was $8

I noticed they did the same thing to the one on Florida blvd near Sherwood.... It looked like they closed it down to me
