Hopefully, I'm tired of waking into any place and seeing their dumb shite everywhere.

Could be more likely that A&E is over.

Didn't read the thread but NO! Fuel to the fire already raging bonfire that are those guys. Not that I am excited of the fact that alot of TV makes Louisiana looks like bass ackwards fools but it brings money into the state.

For those yacking about how this is the highest rated A&E show. You guys do know these family "reality" shows are fads that come and go.

A pawn shop family one day, storage lockers the next, a bounty hunting family.

The point is when this Duck Dynasty shite is over, there will be another show right after it that will shoot up to number. They're a dime a dozen.

A&E won't be hurting at all.

Considering who controls the airwaves.

Duck Dynasty's done. It's over.

The rest of the family should walk. They can afford to break the contract. They've used A&E enough to create generational wealth.

Meh, I think you are overstating A&E. I just looked at their line up and I haven't heard of any of their other shows. To act like they will be unaffected by the loss of DD is simply not true.

I have only watched a couple of episodes of this show and found their acting to be really really bad. With that being said, I feel like they are tight knit family and if one member was told they couldn't be on the show based on their being opposed to gays, I would think the others would quit.

Why, because you have never heard of their shows?

We are talking about cable reality tv here.

I don't agree with the guys opinions, in fact I think comparing homosexuality to beastiality is pretty hateful.
That being said the dude is entitled to his opinion, and A&E is entitled to theirs. I'm not surprised that those are his beliefs and I'm not surprised A&E doesn't want to deal with the PR nightmare of keeping him around.

I think nobody is in the wrong here

I stand corrected, I'm sure they will move Rodeo Girls or Storage Wars Texas over into the DD time slot and they will get the 11 million viewers back. No harm done.

Why can't someone hold an opinion??
It's someones right to believe what they want to believe

Seems if some gay person says......
"Regular sex with Man & Women makes me cringe"
That's OK with them

But let someone straight say........
"Same sex intercourse makes me cringe "
And all heck breaks loose, what gives???

I think no matter what ya do one should be able to express themselves equally. Seems some people want justification and only postive stuff ever said about what they do. I say, you've gotta take the good with the bad.....

At one time Dog the Bounty Hunter was the highest rated show on A&E, when that racist phone call shite happened with him and they parted ways, A&E put some other shite up there that everyone ate it up, so will the next show and the next show and so on.

A&E and the Duck crew are gonna move on and nobody will care.

A&E is owned by Hearst and Disney. They'll be fine.

Duck Dynasty pulls 3 times as many viewers as Dog the Bounty Hunter. I'm not saying the folks at A&E are going to the poor house but this is going to cost them a crapload of money. It will sting what is a pretty lackluster network.

I'm sure A&E has some more shitty reality shows in the pipeline. DD will likely go to CMT or one of the 10 or so faith based networks I saw on my DirecTV guide.

Dog didn't come close to touching the ratings duck dynasty sees. They've never had anything close. It's not some run of the mill reality show that sees mediocre ratings.

They've never had anything in the same stratosphere.

Somehow they pull 10 million plus.

Storage wars was their best before this and it got 5 million. Apparently 14 million people watched the last finale. It freaking beats american idol in the key age demo.
