9 pages worth on the OT.
Phil
FWIW, I read the GQ article that your link originated from.... At first I figured it was a typical liberal writer with an agenda. I'm curious if Phil was provoked or unprovoked.

Thought I would just go ahead and carry this over here. my comments in the OT thread.
So wait, the people who most often get up on a pedestal to preach about tolerance, acceptance, free speech, and freedom of action have a problem with another person stating their own personal beliefs. Shocking! Shocking, I tell you!
Maybe it is because he stated his opinion that certain actions are sinful based on his interpretation the bible. Of course, others openly state their opinion that it is not a sin based on their interpretation of disregard for the bible. So certainly it cant be that considering, the universal desire for free speech.
Maybe because he placed this opinion into the public realm somehow forcing others to be exposed to his form of thinking or beliefs, albeit easy to simply not read the article or watch the show. But, I am sure that is not the reason. I mean, certain communities strongly hold to the right to publicly display their beliefs and behavior with parades, staged week long events at children's parks, and increasing prevalence in TV shows and movies, regardless of how avoidable experiencing these are for the general public. Clearly then the semi public nature of these comments are not where the outrage is coming from.
Maybe, just maybe, those with such strong beliefs of tolerance, acceptance, and freedom of speech are a bit confused on just what those things truly are.

The OT loves them some gays.

Not surprising he doesn't feel happy happy happy about fudge packing I respect old Phil for telling his views like they are no matter who is listening. It doesn't mean he hates gay people. He just doesn't agree with what they do. I can respect that.

Im not sure why it is a difficult concept.
Is using the Lord's name in vain a sin?
Is adultery a sin?
Is murder a sin?
Are the people who commit these sins sinners?
Are you condemning them for applying that logic?
It is not our duty to judge or apply justice as Christians. That is God's job.

Yeah, see it over there. Admin, I'm RA'ing myself in case you want to delete this thread since it's on the OT.

The thing is that Phil Robertson is losing no sleep over this which makes it even more funny.

Yep, no fricks given in the Robertson triple wide. He is busy killing dux right now and not going on Barbara Walters interviews.
I hope the gheys don't want an apology because there is no way in hades that man is giving one.
