New rumor regarding Saban.... Honest.

Roommate went to Texas. Has a close friend who family is connected to BoRegents.
Says that the Saban deal will happen and that they are also taking Alabama's chancellor, Robert Witt.
Powers(UT president) is out with Brown. A lot of political infighting between him and Rick Perry. Long story.
Robert Witt was previously the Dean of Ut business school and president over UT system. So there is prior history there.

the thing about stuff like this, is things change in a split second. there's no doubt bama and texas are both in negotiations with saban, and both sides fill confident, but at the end of the day, information will continue to change as the week goes on. jmo, but if mac brown officially announces that he's stepping down, it's because they have their next coach.
