Original post from Dec 2013 : Big one I've been hearing is Eric Clapton. Also it has generally been accepted that String Cheese Incident and a reunited Outkast will be at the Fest.

Big rumor out of BR is that The Rigz might play Acura stage

I hope SCI plays a night show somewhere too though.
I'll be at at the 3 after-shows at the Civic on the first weekend; 2 moe. shows and 1 Mogwai.

Where do you think a good venue would be for a late night show from them?

I guarantee there will be some epic late nights here.

I was specifically referring to the 3 mentioned...
I always go to the fest, regardless of who is playing... usually just avoid the crowded days, unless I really want to see someone on those days...

Look for The Rigz to play an early afternoon set on the Gentilly Stage.
Posted on 12/9/13 at 5:18 pm to Rickety Cricket
Outkast would be sweet

How do people feel about Clapton? I am stoked for that. A living legend and he also would probably have some great guests.
Posted on 12/9/13 at 6:35 pm to HeadyBrosevelt
I thought Paul McCartney was rumored for this? Or was that for this year's fest?
Posted on 12/9/13 at 7:05 pm to Brosef Stalin
I'd actually rather see Paul over Clapton.

He is also rumored as he has a new album coming out. Although I doubt they would play the same day how great would a McCartney/Clapton "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" be?
