I have never tried muck boots but I don't find mine uncomfortable to walk in. I usually walk about 3/4 mile to my stands.

Make sure to get ones that have the calf strap that pulls the boot tight so it does not flop making all that noise.

I love my Muck Boots, I have had the "Wetlands" model for about 5 years.

My only gripe (mostly due to my skinny arse legs) is that I sound like a herd of cattle coming through the woods when the top half of the boot hits my leg and springs back, clunking every step.

I use Muck because of how comfortable they are to walk in. My first pair was the lightest model made. Was like walking through the woods in jogging shoes. Our walk is never under 1 mile.
