Sorry, no defensive players... and Ratphuc Hobley just missed inclusion:

Leonard Fournette, RB, St. Augustine - has there EVER been a more anticipated and highly rated prospect?

Well, yes... there was:

Josh Booty, QB, Evangel Christian - record breaker, USA Today player of the Year, praised by the likes of Bill Walsh, no less.

Several years earlier:

Mike Miley, QB, East Jefferson - as physically gifted and talented and adored by a community as anybody who ever played the position.

And then... a blank. There have been other great players, of course, but on their level of prestige? Joe McKnight?

Peyton Manning was the top recruit in his class.

Terrance Jones was highly touted.

Kevin Faulk #1

You have to consider some of the other recent guys to come through like: Jarvis Landry, Trey Quinn, Rueben Randle, etc. all who did legendary things in highschool.

Your list doesn't have Peyton Manning or Kevin Faulk? Or Marshall Faulk? Or Kevin Minor? Or Warrick Dunn?

Have to include everyone from Louisiana that won the Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player of the Year. There were 3, all in the 90's:

- Peyton Manning
- Travis Minor
- Brock Berlin

Cecil Collins if we are taking into consideration "on field" performance only. Best High School RB I've ever seen play in person.

Joe mcKnight. I hear he's going to be the next Reggie Bush.
