I'm not sold on how much it helps him to play one game with receivers and backs that he won't have around him next year.

Taking 15 extra practices with just about ALL of the first team reps is massive any way you slice IMO.
I just absolutely hate it for Mettenberger.

I was sold! Jennings is a fricking stud! He was cool in the pocket, had a serviceable arm, and good athleticism. That's all it takes to be a great college QB. He's got it, and I assure you he will have a big year at QB next year.
