If Saban is leaving Bama, I wish him well. However, it could not have been handled worse. A simple I do not comment on speculation (with a death stare at the questioner) would have sufficed to end the questions. At this point, if he leaves, his words would be parsed, rehashed and ridiculed throughout the rest of his career,even more so than his infamous Miami blunder. For that reason alone I say there is zero chance that this happens. We shall see

It's already happened to him twice.

I'm not saying Saban is coming to Texas or not (I have no idea) - but this is simply incorrect. This is perhaps the worst thing he could say because it would absolutely not end the questions, it would only beg more. Unfortunately, in this day and age, coaches must say that they are absolutely staying until the moment comes for them to say they're leaving. It sucks for fans but that's how it goes.
