I'm pretty damn sure he's better than trent now.
Indy looks like idiots and Cleveland looks like bandits right about now.

That was very much the initial consensus from a lot of national reporters. Not necessarily that Indianapolis looked like idiots, but that it was a great deal for Cleveland. I do think a full offseason with his new team will help for the future.

Ingram at alabama his Hiesman year he had a second gear that he is starting to have here now. That knee injury slowed him his last year at Bama, whatever the reason for his upswing I'm glad for him cause Saints fans were eating him alive on here

All this talk about finding the hole and not one sex comment?
ST fail.
put a little hair around it. He'll find it.

That avi made me lmao
Ingram just looks like he wants it more now. Seems like a case of where listening to the media and fans actually helped someone's play. He's more intense for sure

He's got swagger and attitude, I like that and it's infectious for the rest of the team.

I like production so I'm liking him a lot more lately. Hopefully his development will continue. What we really don't get good insight to is how much pain or injury some guys play through. If the toe issues have been his biggest impediment then he certainly might continue uphill (or is he a downhill runner?). Colston and Evans have both been criticized this year. How much they are "gamers" and fight sitting down could be the crux. Also some props to Jimmy F-ing Graham with the partially torn plantar faicitis. A lot of players in a contract year would sit down first.

It's fool's gold. I want him to succeed but our return on investment has not panned out up to this point.
He would also be more productive in a different offensive system.

Asking honest questions here because I do not know ...
... what is Ingram's pay vs. PT and Sproles ?

Much improved from beginning of the season.
True.
Now, if he could learn to run lower (not simply by bending at the waist), he would actually be able to take advantage of some of the natural strength that he has.
Still, it would be unfair to not recognize how much better he is playing.

Agree his vision needs to develop
99 out of 100 times, vision is something that does not develop.
He needs to run in defined holes.

He's running hard....that's all I really ever wanted.

some jumped off the Colston bandwagon awfully quick after a few bad games
...Colston has come on strong, and it looks like Ingram has been running hard and breaking a lot of tackles as of late.

Last night was the first time since he played at Bama I watched him run with some authority.

anyone else want him miked up for a game? I'd love to hear an up-close and personal on some of those gang-tackles where it takes 5 guys to get him down, and he gets up screaming and slapping his helmet.
